Back in stock emails, sent in the order people asked

Tidewell Ceramics restocks glazes in small batches. Sending the alert to everyone at once meant the first batch sold out to the wrong people.

Back in stock emails, sent in the order people asked

When a restock of 40 bowls met an alert list of 300 people, the bowls went to whoever opened the email first, not to the people who had waited longest.

Tidewell now sends the alert in the order people signed up, in waves sized to the stock, and pauses the flow when inventory reaches zero.

Glaze restocks now sell out in a day, and the complaints stopped.
